Obscureness Rating System

Hey everyone! So, on this blog, I will be talking about media that is obscure to the public eye and these obscureness ratings are based on how obscure this particular media is, not based on how much I like that particular product. My thoughts on that obscure media, such as a TV series, a movie or a book, will be shown after the Obscureness Ratings. The media ranges from books, TV shows, movies and video games. Here’s how the Obscureness Rating system works:

5 eyeballs – 4 eyeballs: WAIT, THIS THING EXISTS?

This piece of media is something that most people have not even heard of before and is either out of print or there are a few copies out there, but most people haven’t really checked out this piece of media.

3.5 eyeballs – 3 eyeballs: SOME PEOPLE HEARD ABOUT IT, SOME PEOPLE DIDN’T

This piece of media might have some scenes or aspects that most of the public is aware of, but it still falls under the radar for most people.

2.5 eyeballs – 2 eyeballs: POPULAR, BUT NOT BLOCKBUSTER POPULAR

This piece of media might be popular to the public, but either it went under the radar when it ran in theaters or it wasn’t that popular when it first came out, but it eventually gained a cult following. It can also be known as a sleeper hit.

1.5 eyeballs – 1 eyeball: UMMMM…WHAT’S THIS DOING HERE AGAIN?

Well, this piece of media is popular, therefore it’s not obscure at all. Actually gives me a reason to talk about a popular piece of media on this blog!

*DISCLAIMER ALERT!*

How I rate each piece of media based on how obscure they are, is based off of my PERSONAL OPINIONS. There may be some media that you guys might not agree with on how obscure it really is and that’s fine. Just be friendly and civil about your personal opinions about how obscure these pieces of media are.
