Hello everyone! Welcome to the Top 10 Lists! So on this blog, I will start making various top 10 lists that deal with either movies, video games or TV shows. There’s a chance that my opinions on these lists might change over time and you might see some of these lists on my YouTube channel!
So, for the first Top 10 List, I’m going to list my top 10 favorite deaths from the “Final Destination” franchise! I’ve always loved the Final Destination series, as they had some of the most creative and brutal deaths imaginable on film and it’s always interesting seeing how the main characters die in each film. Of course, I’m definitely thinking about making a video about this list for YouTube somewhere down the line. But for now, here’s my top 10 Final Destination Deaths!

10. Erin’s Death – Final Destination 3 (2006)
In the third installment of this series, a young high school girl named Wendy goes to an amusement park with her friends, when she suddenly gets a premonition that the roller coaster will kill off most of her friends. Wendy manages to save half of her friends, but the other half were brutally killed, including her boyfriend. Now, Wendy has to find a way to save the rest of her friends as Death is now trying to kill off the remaining cast.
So, in this death scene, one of Wendy’s friends, Erin, ends up getting hit with a nail gun and you get to see all of the nails go through Erin’s face, killing her. I found this death to be pretty brutal (although, I’m pretty sure that nail guns don’t work that way), especially with all of the nails just driving their way into Erin’s face.
9. Nadia’s Death – The Final Destination (Final Destination 4) (2009)
A man named Nick goes out with his friends to a racing track when he gets a premonition about his friends being killed at the racing track. After he escapes from dying on the racetrack, he finds out that Death is trying to get him, and his friends and he spends most of the film trying to prevent his friends from dying.
Even though “Final Destination 4” isn’t my favorite movie in the franchise, I still really liked the death scene with Nadia as she is hit by a huge tire and ends up being smashed to bits. It’s definitely one of the most gruesome deaths in the series.
8. Olivia’s Death – Final Destination 5 (2011)
In this fifth installment, after the main characters survived the terrifying bridge collapse, Death comes in and tries to kill off the survivors.
In this scene, Olivia is out getting eye surgery, when things go wrong for her as the lasers ended up cutting into her eye and then she ended up falling out of the window to her death afterwards. The fact that it involves Olivia’s eyes being plucked out gruesomely really made this death downright horrifying to me.
7. Hunt’s Death – The Final Destination (Final Destination 4) (2009)
A man named Nick goes out with his friends to a racing track when he gets a premonition about his friends being killed at the racing track. After he escapes from dying on the racetrack, he finds out that Death is trying to get him, and his friends and he spends most of the film trying to prevent his friends from dying.
So, in this death scene, Hunt ends up diving into the pool to retrieve a coin and he ends up getting sucked in by the pool drain at the bottom of the pool and the drain ended up sucking out all of his organs, which are thrown up in a bloody geyser. Another pretty gruesome death from the series.
6. Candice’s Death – Final Destination 5 (2011)
In this fifth installment, after the main characters survived the terrifying bridge collapse, Death comes in and tries to kill off the survivors.
In this death scene, Candice is practicing her moves in gymnastics and when one of the gymnasts accidentally stepped on a nail, this ended up distracting Candice to the point that she performed a flip in the air and fell on the ground, crushing her body. The fact that this death scene involved the tension surrounding the nail on the balance beam really made this scene pretty intense to watch.
5. Tim’s Death – Final Destination 2 (2003)
Taking place after the events of the first Final Destination movie, Kimberly and her friends are going on spring break when she gets a premonition about a massive car pile-up that will kill them all. Even though Kimberly and her friends do survive, Death comes back to kill them all.
So, in this death scene, a young boy named Tim had just come out of the dentist’s office and he ends up playing with some birds, until a huge glass pane falls down on him and crushes him to death. I remembered when I first saw this death scene many years ago and I remembered it being pretty gruesome at the time, even though nowadays, it looks a bit goofy.
4. Nora’s Death – Final Destination 2 (2003)
Taking place after the events of the first Final Destination movie, Kimberly and her friends are going on spring break when she gets a premonition about a massive car pile-up that will kill them all. Even though Kimberly and her friends do survive, Death comes back to kill them all.
So, after the death of her son (who happens to be Tim, who’s death is also on the list), Nora decides to leave the rest of the group after she hears about Death coming after them. This then leads her to go to the elevator and it was there that her hair ended up getting caught in some hooks while she was in the elevator. She tried to get out of the elevator, but her head was stuck in the elevator door and she ended up being beheaded by the elevator. This death always felt the most realistic to me, especially since it’s possible for something like that to happen to anyone in real life.
3. Ashley and Ashlynn’s Deaths – Final Destination 3 (2006)
In the third installment of this series, a young high school girl named Wendy goes to an amusement park with her friends, when she suddenly gets a premonition that the roller coaster will kill off most of her friends. So, in this death scene, the two girls Ashley and Ashlynn go to a tanning bed spa and they sit in the tanning beds for awhile. But unfortunately, Death has messed with the temperature of the tanning beds and caused the temperatures to go up so high, that both Ashley and Ashlynn burned to death. This is cited as one of the most infamous deaths in the entire series due to how over the top the deaths are.
2. Miss Lewton’s Death – Final Destination (2000)
In the first movie, Alex and his classmates are preparing to go on a trip to Paris when he ended up receiving a premonition about the plane exploding, with his classmates on it. Alex manages to escape from the plane with some of his classmates, but unfortunately, it turns out that Death is coming after the survivors who escaped their fates.
So, in this death scene, one of the teachers, Miss Lewton, goes back to her home after the events of the plane crash and once she’s in her kitchen, everything starts going haywire, which includes her microwave exploding and shards of glass getting into her throat. It then culminates in Miss Lewton getting stabbed in the chest when a knife falls into her chest (oh, and her house explodes afterwards). I was actually debating about putting this death in the number 1 spot, due to how over the top it was, but this was definitely the most sadistic death out of the entire series!

In the first movie, Alex and his classmates are preparing to go on a trip to Paris when he ended up receiving a premonition about the plane exploding, with his classmates on it. Alex manages to escape from the plane with some of his classmates, but unfortunately, it turns out that Death is coming after the survivors who escaped their fates.
So, in this scene, Terry is arguing with her friends, when she is suddenly hit by a bus. This ultimately topped my list because of how unexpected this death was and it remains to be the most shocking death in this franchise!
So, those are my top 10 Final Destination Deaths! I’m definitely planning on making a video about these deaths on my YouTube channel soon and it’s possible that this list might change once I rewatch all of these movies again. But for now, these are my top 10 and it’s amazing how the Final Destination series has some of the most creative deaths in horror movies!
